Hawke’s Bay United (HBU) represents the east coast of the North Island in the New Zealand
Football Championship (NZFC), a franchise based 8 team National league played annually October to March.
Based at the home of Hawke’s Bay football, Bluewater Stadium, Park Island, Napier, Hawke's Bay
United franchise aim as representing the larger football family within the province. At the same
time the team’s home strip changed to the traditional Hawke’s Bay colours of black and white.
The Bay has always been a proud and successful football area, and Hawke’s Bay United are keen
to see this continue.
